VCU Libraries Community Zoom: Stories of Your Personal Treasures
Thursday, Aug. 13, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
Libraries collect materials of cultural and historical value. Library lovers are often collectors, too. While personal treasures may or may not have great cultural or historical value, they do have meaning. This session sponsored by VCU Libraries focuses on these objects — from childhood drawings to vacation mementos — and the stories they tell. Email the VCU Libraries Development Office at libdevelop@vcu.edu to receive a link to join the sessions.
For more information, contact Gregory Kimbrell at kimbrellgg@vcu.edu or (804) 393-2951 or visit https://www.library.vcu.edu/about/events/2020-2021/community-zooms.html.
