Theme Meeting for Child Health Research Neuroscience Institute Group

The first quarterly meeting of a group focusing on pediatric neurosciences research (from molecular to behavioral) will be held online. Share your work, learn what others are doing, find collaborators and expand your impact. Attendance counts toward membership in the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU Child Health Research Institute and eligibility for grants. VCUDining Updates
To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, VCUDine has added more choices, including touchless pay and two swipes per week at Chick-fil-A. Touchless payment methods include scanning your GET mobile app, tapping your VCUCard at the register, or using Apple Pay or Google Pay. Cash will not be accepted. Additionally, swipe exchange can be used twice a week, Monday through Saturday, at Chick-fil-A.

VCU Health Hub at 25th Reopens
The VCU Health Hub reopened its doors to provide Richmond East End residents access to care coordination, health education and wellness education, and in-person and virtual activities needed to stay healthy. A community health worker is currently on-site and residents are being surveyed to better understand community health needs. The Health Hub is now open from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Questions, email Natalie Pennywell, director, at nrpennywell@vcu.edu.

OCPE Personal and Professional Development Courses and Events
The VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education is currently offering a variety of learning opportunities for VCU faculty, staff, students, alumni and community members. The offerings include computer skills for the workplace, customer service, event planning, paralegal studies, play therapy, podcasting, sales and test prep for the GRE, GMAT, LSAT, SAT, ACT, MCAT, PCAT and DAT.
