One Person, One Vote: Making VCU a Voter-Friendly Campus

The VCU Honors College will host Nicole O'Donnell, Ph.D., assistant professor, for a Berglund seminar. She will discuss the barriers faced by students when voting. Linking to concepts in Carol Anderson’s book "One Person, No Vote," those who attend will debate possible reasons for student voter suppression and discuss what our community is doing to address barriers and promote a culture of voting. Understanding Unconscious Bias

This two-hour workshop will explore unconscious bias — social stereotypes about groups of people that form outside of our own conscious awareness. PMP Exam Prep
