Digital Crisis Communications for Global Pandemics

In partnership with the Robertson School of Media and Culture, the asynchronous online course Digital Crisis Communications for Global Pandemics is available in a noncredit format with Jeanine Guidry, Ph.D., from Sept. 21-Oct. 31 and is open to all. Call for Positions: Work Study Research Assistant Program

The VCU Work-Study Research Assistant Program was designed to give undergraduates the opportunity to gain insight into the research process while providing assistance to faculty mentors and research groups. The program is in collaboration with the Office of Financial Aid to utilize federal work-study funds to support undergraduate research assistants for VCU mentors. The program is funded by financial aid awards and paid by the hour at no cost to faculty or their departments. Apply at the following URL.

VRS Hybrid Contribution Deadline Is Sept. 15

Sept. 15 is the quarterly election deadline for voluntary contributions to become effective in October for Virginia Retirement System Hybrid Plan participants. Participants can voluntarily contribute up to 4 percent of their creditable salary and receive up to a 2.5 percent employer match.
