Cultural Competency and Language Classes

The VCU Office of Continuing and Professional Education, in partnership with the School of World Studies, will hold live online cultural competency and language classes for VCU and VCU Health employees and community members for one academic credit. Courses will be held the week of Jan. 25 through early May. Introduction to Conversational Spanish I & II and Introduction to Conversational Italian I are available. Limited Submission Funding Opportunity for NIH/NCI NCI Early Stage Postdoctoral Researchers (K99/R00)

Massey Cancer Center is accepting applications for the NCI K99/R00 internal competition. The NCI Early K99/R00 program is designed to suit the career paths of postdoctoral fellows pursuing careers in Data Science and Cancer Control Science, who typically require only a short period of mentored research training beyond their doctoral degrees before obtaining independent faculty positions. Applicants must have a maximum of two years of postdoctoral research experience by Feb. 26, 2021. The internal application deadline is Dec. 17.

VCUDine: Spring Dining Plan Enrollment

Enrollment for spring 2021 dining plans is now open at the following URL. Dining dollars from fall will roll over to the spring semester with the purchase of a plan. All swipe exchange locations added this fall will continue through next semester, including Chick-fil-A, Starbucks and Chili's. VCUDine will also open a new location in the spring.
