Ovarian and Uterine Cancers: What Every Woman Should Know
5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
When it comes to gynecologic cancers, ovarian cancer is the most difficult to manage, and uterine cancer is the most common in the nation. Join Leslie Randall, M.D., director of gynecologic oncology at VCU Massey Cancer Center, as she discusses how advances in genetics have led to new targeted treatments for these cancers and more preventive options for women at high risk. This event is open to the public and will be streamed live from Massey's Facebook page.

Five Years: The Global Feminist Tide

How can the political friendships between grassroots feminist movements around the world be strengthened? This virtual event is a gathering of eight activists from eight countries who have been key in the formation of a new feminist internationalism from below and from the South. This conversation expands on the political connections included in "High on the Tide," featured in "As Everybody" ("Como todo el mundo"), the upcoming ICA exhibition by Fernanda Laguna. Study Abroad Programs Canceled Through May 2021
Due to the continued uncertainty of the global COVID-19 pandemic, VCU has decided to cancel all study abroad programs through May 2021. This includes spring 2021 and spring break 2021 programs and included exchanges, direct-enroll, third-party provider programs and independent study. VCU's Global Education Office will continue to monitor health and travel recommendations regarding summer 2021. In the meantime, students should visit the following website for ways to maintain momentum in planning study abroad.
