Unlocking Health Equity: Racial and Socioeconomic Disparities and COVID-19

Sheryl Garland, VCU Health System chief of health impact, will lead a discussion on the racial disparity of COVID-19 and discuss the economic, social and health inequities that have led to or perpetuate the disparity. Princeton in Latin America Fellowship Informational Session

Rewriting Pandemic: The New History of Plague

The VCU Honors College will host Leigh Ann Craig, Ph.D., associate professor of history, for a Berglund seminar. She will discuss the latest research on the history of Plague (Yersinia Pestis), one of the diseases most frequently compared to COVID, to show the degree to which pandemic events are often difficult to know. Gender: Beyond the Binary

National Conflict Resolution Day
