Wavelength Lecture by Meriem Bennani

Meriem Bennani, a native of Rabat, Morocco, lives and works in Brooklyn. She received her BFA from Cooper Union, N.Y., and her MFA from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris. Solo exhibitions of her work have been held at C L E A R I N G New York; The Kitchen, New York; Fondation Louis Vuitton, Paris; Art Dubai; MoMA PS1, New York; and SIGNAL, Brooklyn. What's New in the Psychological Study of Forgiveness?

The VCU Honors College will host Commonwealth professor emeritus Everett L. Worthington, Ph.D., for a Berglund seminar. Worthington will discuss what forgiveness is and introduce the program REACH Forgiveness. 'The Politics of Annexation: Oligarchic Power in a Southern City'

"The Politics of Annexation" is a landmark study in the annexation of suburban areas by cities for tax, political and even racial purposes, focusing on Richmond’s racially motivated annexation of a part of Chesterfield. CLARION Case Competition Interest Meeting

Join the Center for Interprofessional Education and Inter Health Professionals Alliance for an interest meeting for the National CLARION Competition. This is a student case competition for health professional students, enabling them to achieve a 360-degree perspective on patient safety in today's health care system and how it might be improved. Student teams, consisting of four students, composed of at least two disciplines, are given a case and are charged with creating a root cause analysis. The team presents its analysis to a panel of interprofessional judges that evaluates their analysis in the context of real-world standards of practice. The winning VCU team competes at the national level for scholarship and prizes. Register at the following URL.

Virtual Reality Games to Treat Back Pain
Are you currently experiencing low back pain, between the ages of 18-60 years old or interested in the possibility of nine weeks of nonsurgical experimental treatment? If you answered yes to all three you may qualify for our research. What? New, innovative and fun virtual reality games designed to help people with chronic back pain move and feel better. Where? All appointments, testing and treatments are conducted at VCU. When? Participation in the study involves nine consecutive weeks of nonsurgical experimental treatment and five follow-up visits.
