Rec Sports To Hold March Climbing Challenge
Monday, Mar. 1, 2021 at 2 p.m.
VCU's Recreational Sports Outdoor Adventure Program will host a climbing challenge through March 31. Climbers are challenged to set a personal record or compete against friends to climb a total of 2,900 feet to ascend the 35-foot high face of El Capitan on the Cary Street Gym Climbing Wall. Climbers can help the OAP reach its goal of climbing 29,035 vertical feet to the peak of Everest. All levels of experience are welcome. Register at the Climbing Wall.

Study of Brain Development in Typically Developing Infants
Researchers in VCU's Department of Physical Therapy and Pediatric Radiology are conducting a study to learn about brain development in healthy infants. Infants born 38-40 weeks are invited to participate and enrolled infants will undergo three MRI visits and three assessments during the first six months. Participants will be compensated for their time and travel. Unsedated MRI visits will be conducted at Children's Hospital of Richmond and developmental assessments can be conducted at home or VCU.
