Health Coverage Open Enrollment Ends May 17
Today, May 17, is the last day for eligible faculty and staff to make health coverage changes and/or enroll in flexible spending for the plan year beginning July 1. Eligible faculty and staff may make open enrollment elections for state health coverage and flexible spending until May 17. Elections may be made online or by using an enrollment form. The East Marshall Street Well Project: A Story of Our Ancestral Remains

Join Jennifer Early, Ph.D., project manager at VCU Health and a member of the Family Representative Council for the East Marshall Street Well Project, for a virtual presentation recounting the history of human remains found in the East Marshall Street Well on the VCU Medical Center Campus. Early will explore the practice of 19th-century grave robbing for the purposes of procuring cadavers for medical study and how this practice was only one contributor to institutional racism in health care. Spring 2021 Final Grading Due May 18 at Noon
Grade sheets are now available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon on May 18, at which time grade entry will no longer be available. It is imperative to meet this deadline to complete all end-of-the-semester processes. Faculty may choose to use the feature to upload grades from an Excel file into eServices. Faculty may only access grade sheets for courses to which they have been assigned.

Virtual Reality Gaming for Back Pain
Are you currently experiencing low back pain, between the ages of 18-60 years old and interested in the possibility of nine weeks of nonsurgical experimental treatment? If you answered yes to all three you may qualify for our research. What? New, innovative and fun virtual reality games are designed to help people with chronic back pain move and feel better. Where? All appointments, testing and treatments are conducted at VCU. When? Participation in the study involves 24 one-hour appointments scheduled over a 57-week period. Who?
