The VCU Honors College will host Amanda Wintersieck, Ph.D., assistant professor of political science, for a Berglund seminar. Wintersieck will discuss the research she conducted during the 2016 presidential election, which focused on how levels of authoritarianism can influence an individual’s choice of fact-checking information and their likeliness to agree with a candidate's claims. 'The Geopolitics of Fear'

VCUarts Dance NOW 2021: Part I

VCUarts Dance + Choreography will present VCUarts Dance NOW 2021, new work in the virtual space by students, faculty and featuring a collaborative restaging of "Artist Journal" by guest artists Urban Bush Women. Rotating programs will be screened online at 7 p.m. Feb. 19, Feb. 26, March 5 and March 12. All performances are free. Feb. 19 features "Artist Journal" and two new student works.

Free MCAT Sample Class

One Simple Wish Talent Show Fundraiser

Exhibits at The Anderson Extended
Two exhibitions at The Anderson, 907 1/2 W. Franklin St., have been extended until Feb. 19. The exhibitions are "WHERE ARE YOU FROM?" from WonJung Choi, Art Foundation Program adjunct instructor and recipient of the 2021 Excellence in Adjunct Research Exhibition, and "In the Absence of Grey," from A. Blair Clemo, assistant professor of craft/material studies. Both exhibits are on view until 6 p.m. Feb. 19.

Exhibition From Min Haeng Kang
VCUarts and The Anderson will present "See As One" from VCUarts Craft/Material studies alumni Min Haeng Kang (MFA 2020). Kang’s exhibition consists of artworks installed in a top floor gallery as well as an installation on the mezzanine level window. "See As One" is on view through Feb. 23 at The Anderson, 907 1/2 W. Franklin St.
