Climbers are challenged to set a personal record or compete against friends to climb a total of 2,900 feet to ascend the 35-foot high face of El Capitan on the Cary Street Gym Climbing Wall. Climbers can help the OAP reach its goal of climbing 29,035 vertical feet to the peak of Everest. All levels of experience are welcome. Register at the Climbing Wall. Call for Virtual Presentations: VCU Symposium for Undergraduate Research

Research Study

The Institute of Drug and Alcohol Studies is inviting volunteers aged 18-70 to participate in a research study to add to the science for developing new treatments for people with alcohol use disorder. Study volunteers can be people who don’t drink, drink sometimes, drink every day, or used to drink but now don’t. The study is one to four visits at the CARI Clinic (free parking) and involves answering questions about yourself, playing games on the computer, a physical exam and an MRI scan. Race and Trust in Institutions Study

Are you 18 years of age or above and self-identify as Black/African American? Consider the Race and Trust in Institutions Study. The purpose of the study is to explore how public incidents involving law enforcement and African Americans may affect mental health and institutional trust. All data will be held confidential. VCU's ASPEN Lab Seeks Participants for Study

VCU's ASPEN Lab (Advanced Signal Processing in Engineering and Neuroscience) is enrolling individuals for a study involving virtual reality and EEG brain signal measurements.
