Become a Mindful Ambassador

VCU Recreational Sports and The Well are teaming up to offer a free four-week mindfulness training course for students to learn methods to build resilience using Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction techniques. These two-hour, interactive virtual classes will provide resources on topics such as mindfulness in the face of stress and uncertainty, how individuals can tune in to thoughts and emotions through mindful practice and how to live compassionately. VCU students, faculty, and staff who complete the program will be eligible to join The Health Promotion and Well-being Center's Mindful Ambassador Program.

Study on Race and Parenting

Are you raising a Black child ages 7-12? Do you talk to them about race? Consider participating in a study about race and parenting. The purpose of our study is to better understand how Black families work together to teach their children about race. VR to Treat Your Back Pain

Are you currently experiencing low back pain, between the ages of 18-60 years old and interested in the possibility of nine weeks of nonsurgical experimental treatment?
