Join the Peppas Pep Band

The VCU Peppas Pep Band is seeking new members for the 2021-2022 season. All instruments and ability levels are encouraged to join and membership is free to all. Practice is held once a week and the band performs at most VCU athletic events.

Come Play In The Band: University Band APPM357

University Band (APPM 357) is open to all VCU students. The band is very inclusive and all ability levels are welcome. If you have played in a band in the past, this is the place for you. The University Band meets each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3-3:50 p.m. and performs one concert each semester. Sign up for this class by registering for APPM 357.

Asian and Pacific American Medical Student Association Fundraiser and Raffle

The Asian and Pacific American Medical Student Association at VCU is sponsoring a fundraising effort for the Asian-American Society of Central Virginia until May 21. Proceeds will go to the society's efforts in spreading and promoting the group's interests. Those who donate can enter a raffle for one of five $100 gift cards for Wheel Simple Bike Repair Shop. The association requests that donations be a minimum of $5 to enter with each increment of $5 as an additional entry. Donations are accepted until May 21. Venmo @Alan-Ventura donations with note "AASoCV" and "raffle" for those who wish to enter the raffle.

Medicine With Pride at VCU is raising money for Diversity in Recovery, a group which creates safe spaces for LGBTQ+ folk and allies and promotes recovery from substance abuse and trauma. Applications Sought for Inaugural Cohort of 'The Queerantine Archive Project'

The Queerantine Archive Project will explore LGBTQIA2+ community life during COVID-19. The project will be funded by VCU's Relevant, Experiential and Applied Learning (REAL) Challenge Grant. The inaugural cohort of student researchers will gain training in feminist research methods and engage in academic and professional work in their areas of interest (graphic design, website construction, interviewing and more).
