VCU Recreational Sports' Trivia Team is available to host Trivia on Demand for departments, staff, student organizations or residence halls. Games typically last 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the number of individuals and/or teams participating.

Recreational Sports ARC Basic Life Support and First Aid Classes

VCU Recreational Sports will offer an American Red Cross blended learning course which combines Basic Life Support and First Aid. The class is intended for health care providers responding to cardiac and breathing emergencies. The course specializes in skills in CPR, AED and first aid, along with elements of communication and adaptability when responding to emergencies. Upcoming single-day sessions will be held on March 23, April 3, April 6, April 17, April 20, May 1 and May 4.

Bristol Myers Squibb Foundation Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Program

The BMSF Diversity in Clinical Trials Career Development Program has released a call for applications to fund emerging investigators' need to conduct clinical trials that will yield the development of new treatments that are effective in all populations. Applicants must hold the degree of M.D., M.D./Ph.D., D.O. or D.O./Ph.D. and have an interest in clinical research in the areas of cancer (hematology and oncology), cardiovascular disease and immunologic disorders. Applications are due no later than July 1.
