Cabell Library's First-Floor Stacks Will Be Closed for Browsing This Summer

The VCU Libraries collection housed on the first floor of James Branch Cabell Library will be unavailable for browsing June 8 through as late as Oct. 15 for the replacement of aged and unstable shelving and old carpeting. Researchers are encouraged to plan ahead and check out needed materials before June 5. Faculty may request books to be pulled and held for pickup at the service desk, or for Front Door Pickup or delivered to their offices by using the “Request” function in the search box.

Filipino American Heart Health Study

Youssef Roman from VCU's School of Pharmacy is leading a community genetic research study to investigate the prevalence and risk factors of cardiovascular diseases in Filipino Americans.
