Health Coverage Open Enrollment May 3-17
Open enrollment for health coverage and flexible spending plans will be May 3–17. The plan year begins July 1, 2021. No action is required to maintain current coverage elections for the upcoming plan year, but enrollment is required to begin or continue participation in flexible spending. COVA Care and COVA HealthAware participants may qualify for premium rewards for the upcoming plan year by completing a new or updated health assessment. Questions? Visit go.vcu.edu/hrsupport. VCU's Office of Multicultural Student Affairs will host Hollee McGinnis, MSSW, Ph.D., assistant professor, for a presentation in conjunction with Asian/Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. The presentation will include an overview of the history and practice of transracial adoption of Asian children and the complexity of living and loving across differences of race, nationality and blood. ICA Third Anniversary Lunch and Launch

2021-22 Faculty Fellows Program Now Accepting Applications
Applications are open for the 2021-22 Office of the Provost Faculty Fellows Program. Selected fellows will work with senior leaders in developing programmatic initiatives to support faculty. Available fellowships include Faculty Fellow for Faculty Affairs (2 available; 1 with a preference to adjuncts) and Faculty Fellow for the Center for Teaching and Learning Excellence (1 available).
