Summer Students Should Update Current Physical Location

All students enrolled in summer 2021 courses at VCU will receive an email from the dean of students in June requesting verification of physical location while taking courses. Federal Regulation 34 CFR 600.9(c)(2) requires that all institutions of higher education (including VCU) make a determination of the state or other place where students are physically located. The purpose of this federal regulation is to ensure that VCU is authorized to provide educational opportunities where enrolled students are located. Details, including an FAQ, are on the Current Physical Location website at the following URL.

For more information, contact Yeimarie Lopez at location@vcu.edu or visit https://provost.vcu.edu/location/.

Quantification of Neural Development in Infancy

Researchers in VCU's Department of Physical Therapy and Radiology are conducting a study to learn about infant brain development. Infants born between 38-40 weeks and under three months are invited to participate in the study. Enrolled infants will undergo three MRI visits and three assessments during the first six months of life. MRI visits will be at Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU and assessments can be completed at the infant’s home or in lab. If you are interested in participating contact the study team for more information.

For more information, contact Meagan Miller at mdlinpt@vcu.edu or (804) 628-5037.
