Experiential Lectures From Exodus: School of Expression

This summer, six Richmond-based artists participated in Exodus: School of Expression’s Seed Summer Residency. Artists-in-residence participated in artist-led workshops centered on Afro-futurism, internal archives, speculative practices, sonics and visual languages. The ICA Shop, at VCU's Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St., will hold a culminating salon that centers around the premise of eco-systems in relation to community. Digital Sociology Lab's Summer Learning Series Course Three: Digital Data Analysis Using Excel
Saturday, Aug. 7, 2021 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
VCU's Digital Sociology Lab will present its inaugural Summer Learning Series in three, six-hour sessions. These online courses, on popular digital data tools currently used by digital sociologists, are free to current VCU students. This hands-on training can advance individual research and professional skill sets. The final course in the series will focus on teaching students basic data analysis with Excel. Participate in a Survey Study on Behavior Change Counseling
Are you a health-care clinician or student who practices or trains in Virginia? If so, then you are likely eligible to participate in a survey study conducted by faculty at VCU. We are interested in how health-care professionals have learned behavioral health counseling, specifically motivational interviewing. Researchers Seeking Volunteers for COVID-CARE Study
Researchers are looking for volunteers to participate in the COVID-CARE study. Volunteers must be aged 18 and older, identify as Black or African American and be located within the Richmond area. Volunteers will be asked to review and electronically sign an informed consent document, complete online surveys and complete two COVID tests at home, provided at no cost.
