This summer, six Richmond-based artists participated in Exodus: School of Expression’s Seed Summer Residency. Artists-in-residence participated in artist-led workshops centered on Afro-futurism, internal archives, speculative practices, sonics and visual languages. The ICA Shop, at VCU's Institute for Contemporary Art at the Markel Center, 601 W. Broad St., will hold a culminating salon that centers around the premise of eco-systems in relation to community. Researchers are looking for volunteers to participate in the COVID-CARE study. Volunteers must be aged 18 and older, identify as Black or African American and be located within the Richmond area.
