This workshop about the Rx Impact program, hosted by VCU Human Resources and CommonHealth, will provide those who attend with the information needed to make informed decisions about their health when they or a family member receive a prescription medication. This program will educate participants about the topics they need to know prior to going home with the prescription, during use and when they are finished with or no longer need the medication. Introduce Students to VCU and the Common Book
Monday, Aug. 16, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Common Book Program invites faculty and staff to welcome first-year students to VCU by facilitating a 50-minute August Common Book discussion on Aug. 16 or Aug. 17 via Zoom. Recreational Sports Faculty/Staff Functional Fitness Training
The Faculty/Staff Functional Fitness Training Instructional Program is available to all faculty and staff who are members of VCU Recreational Sports. The second session will be July 6-Aug. 12 on Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-7:30 a.m. at Cary Street Gym, 101 S. Linden St. Register by July 2.

Nominations Being Accepted for SCHEV Outstanding Faculty Awards
The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia has issued its call for nominations for the 2022 Virginia Outstanding Faculty Awards. These awards recognize superior accomplishments in teaching, research and service. Nomination instructions are available at the following URL.
