Two-Day Richmond Geometry Festival

The Richmond Geometry Festival will focus on emergent research topics while bringing together specialists in low-dimensional topology and algebraic geometry. The festival will highlight developments in moduli theory together with new perspectives in Floer homology and Khovanov homology. This virtual event, sponsored by VCU's Department of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, will be held June 10-11 and will feature online lectures and a virtual poster session. Salary Increase
A five percent salary increase will become effective on June 10 for all University and Academic Professionals and Classified staff hired on or before Jan. 1 with a performance rating of “developing” or higher.

2021 Virtual Nursing Explorations

Nursing Explorations is a virtual two-day introduction to nursing for high school students interested in the field and is open to students in the ninth through 12th grades. Recreational Sports Facilities Transition to Full Operations
VCU Recreational Sports facilities are transitioning to full operations. Masks are not required for those who are vaccinated. Vaccinated community members who wish to wear a mask are encouraged to do so. Masks are still required of all unvaccinated patrons ages 5 and up at all indoor Recreational Sports facilities. Additionally, workout reservations at the Cary Street Gym or MCV Campus recreation center are no longer required. Further changes will be announced in the coming weeks.
