Deep Stretch With Jess

This slower, 30-minute session focuses on active stretching of muscles and opening of connective tissue. VCUarts Theatre To Present Filmed Performances of 'I and You'

VCU's Department of Theatre will present filmed performances of "I and You" by Lauren Gunderson. In-person screenings will be at Grace Street Theatre, 934 W. Grace St., at 8 p.m. on Sept. 17 and Sept. 18. Masks will be required. Admission for VCU students will be $5. A virtual stream will be available Sept. 19. "I and You" is the story of a teen homebound due to chronic illness and the popular, athletic classmate who unexpectedly turns up at her house.

Becoming an Antiracist Educator Series

2021-22 Survey Measures Use of Libraries Services, Future Funding
Between September 2021 and September 2022, VCU will be conducting in-person and online surveys to assess use of VCU Libraries services and resources. The university will use the data to meet federal reporting requirements and to establish funding allocations. The survey will be conducted during randomly selected two-hour periods, and will be distributed in-person at James Branch Cabell Library, the Health Sciences Library and online. Responses are anonymous.

VRS Hybrid Contribution Deadline is Sept. 15
Sept. 15 is the quarterly election deadline for voluntary contributions to become effective in October for participants in the Virginia Retirement System Hybrid Plan. Filipino American Heart Health Study
Youssef Roman, Pharm.D., Ph.D., of VCU's School of Pharmacy is conducting a study to assess the prevalence and causes of heart diseases in Filipino Americans. This study is for anyone who considers themselves as Filipino with both biological parents of Filipino heritage. The study is funded by VCU's C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research.
