The Aug. 13 event will feature collective writing, reading and moving through the text projected on the building with Richmond-based poet Ty Little. Call for Student Participants With Traumatic Brain Injury and/or Spinal Cord Injury

VCU's Center on Transition Innovations is conducting a demonstration research project, Project Achieve, to assist female students with traumatic brain injury and/or spinal cord injury. Participants will receive services through iPads, individualized apps and case management. Participants receive compensation upon enrollment and may keep their iPad upon study completion. Participate in a Survey Study on Behavior Change Counseling

Are you a health-care clinician or student who practices or trains in Virginia? If so, then you are likely eligible to participate in a survey study conducted by faculty at VCU. We are interested in how health-care professionals have learned behavioral health counseling, specifically motivational interviewing. Those who complete the 20-minute survey will be entered into a bi-monthly gift-card drawing. Click on the following link to participate.

Researchers Seeking Volunteers for COVID-CARE Study

Researchers are looking for volunteers to participate in the COVID-CARE study. Volunteers must be aged 18 and older, identify as Black or African American and be located within the Richmond area. Volunteers will be asked to review and electronically sign an informed consent document, complete online surveys and complete two COVID tests at home, provided at no cost. On Your Mark …

… Ready, SET, Health. Researchers at VCU are looking for young women interested in changing their diet and physical activity routine to enroll in a new study. Eligible participants will receive a free program designed to help them meet their goals for healthy living. The study requires two in-person data collection visits (one before the program and one after), but the entire four-month program is conducted completely online.
