VCUarts MFA To Present Film at Richmond International Film and Music Festival

"Welcome to the Show," a film written, directed and produced by VCU Department of Theatre graduate Dorie Barton (MFA 2020), will be the opening night feature at the Richmond International Film and Music Festival at the Byrd Theatre, 2908 W. Cary St. Barton is a VCUarts adjunct instructor. The film, which includes VCUarts students and alumni, is about four best friends who attend an immersive theatre production on a wild last hurrah as college students. Wearable Sensors for Tracking Tummy Time in Infants
Researchers in the Department of Physical Therapy are conducting a study to test the use of wearable sensors to track tummy time in infants. Full-term and preterm infants aged 3-6 months are invited to participate. Parents of enrolled infants will attach the sensors to their infant's clothing and record natural play for few hours each day at home for three days. Compensation will be provided.

Participate in a Survey Study on Behavior Change Counseling
Are you a health-care clinician or student who practices or trains in Virginia? If so, then you are likely eligible to participate in a survey study conducted by faculty at VCU. We are interested in how health-care professionals have learned behavioral health counseling, specifically motivational interviewing.
