Using GRTC to Travel Cross-Campus
Students and employees traveling cross-campus are encouraged to utilize GRTC's Pulse or Route 5. Pulse is a rapid transit system that serves a 7.6-mile route along Broad Street. Route 5, a high-frequency local route, travels mostly along Main and Cary streets, Ninth Street and into Whitcomb Court. RecWell Children's Swim Lessons Session 1
Parent/Child and Preschool 1-3 Swim Lessons are offered this fall at Cary Street Gym Aquatic Center, 101 S. Linden St. Introduce your child to the water to instill confidence as a swimmer. Classes are taught by certified water safety instructors. Participants will learn techniques in a fun and engaging manner. Session 1 registration closes Sept. 10 at noon. Classes run Saturdays, Sept. 11-Oct. 2.

Participate in a Survey Study on Behavior Change Counseling
Are you a health-care clinician or student who practices or trains in Virginia? If so, then you are likely eligible to participate in a survey study conducted by faculty at VCU. We are interested in how health-care professionals have learned behavioral health counseling, specifically motivational interviewing. Wearable Sensors for Tracking Tummy Time in Infants
Researchers in the Department of Physical Therapy are conducting a study to test the use of wearable sensors to track tummy time in infants. Full-term and preterm infants aged 3-6 months are invited to participate. Parents of enrolled infants will attach the sensors to their infant's clothing and record natural play for few hours each day at home for three days. Compensation will be provided.
