RecWell Climbing Clinics Fall 2021

VCU RecWell's Outdoor Adventure Program offers climbing clinics, free to VCU students and RecWell members, for all levels of experience. The clinics are held at the Cary Street Gym climbing wall, 101 S. Linden St., throughout the semester. Clinics include sport climbing, gym to crag, climbing technique and request-a-clinic.

Participate in a Survey Study on Behavior Change Counseling

Are you a health-care clinician or student who practices or trains in Virginia? If so, then you are likely eligible to participate in a survey study conducted by faculty at VCU. We are interested in how health-care professionals have learned behavioral health counseling, specifically motivational interviewing. Volunteers With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Are Invited for Study Evaluating Effects of Noninvasive Brain Stimulation on Pain Perception in Patients With Diabetic Neuropathy

We are inviting male and female patients with diabetic neuropathy ages 18-75 to participate in a research investigation into the effects of noninvasive brain stimulation on pain perception. This study involves transcranial magnetic stimulation, which is a noninvasive and widely used brain stimulation technique. It also involves completing surveys and undergoing tests to evaluate perceptions of pain. Volunteers will be compensated for their time. You are only required to come once for the study and it will take approximately two to two-and-a-half hours to complete the study. The study is conducted within the VCU Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Lab at 737 N.
