This event is based on an upcoming edited book volume, "The Triple Pandemic" edited by Elsie Harper-Anderson, Jay Albanese and Susan Gooden. Speakers will examine the threefold convergence of major threats to public health, economic livelihood and access to justice during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Avaya IX Workplace Mobile App Dialing Changes
Beginning 6 p.m. on Oct. 6, users of the Avaya IX Workplace mobile app will need to dial “9” in order to place an outside call. Dialing from the app will be the same as dialing from any station on campus. All calls will be placed by dialing 9+ the telephone number regardless of whether you are dialing from an on-campus phone or the mobile application.

Participate in a Survey Study on Behavior Change Counseling
Are you a health-care clinician or student who practices or trains in Virginia? If so, then you are likely eligible to participate in a survey study conducted by faculty at VCU. We are interested in how health-care professionals have learned behavioral health counseling, specifically motivational interviewing. Participate in a Focus Group on Lung Cancer Screening
VCU Health and Massey Cancer Center are conducting focus groups to understand the experiences of Black men who smoke or used to smoke and their opinions about lung cancer screening, smoking cessation and health care disparities in Virginia. Eligibility criteria: identify as a Black male, current or former smoker and 50 years old or older.
