Top Hat now offers a course package which allows instructors to utilize course polls, attendance, assessments and discussions at zero cost to students. Students use their own mobile device, so purchasing a response device is not required. If an instructor has adopted a Top Hat textbook for their course as a required item, students will be prompted to purchase an access key. Volunteers With Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Are Invited for Study Evaluating Effects of Noninvasive Brain Stimulation on Pain Perception in Patients With Diabetic Neuropathy

We are inviting male and female patients with diabetic neuropathy ages 18-75 to participate in a research investigation into the effects of noninvasive brain stimulation on pain perception. This study involves transcranial magnetic stimulation, which is a noninvasive and widely used brain stimulation technique. It also involves completing surveys and undergoing tests to evaluate perceptions of pain. Volunteers will be compensated for their time. You are only required to come once for the study and it will take approximately two to two-and-a-half hours to complete the study. The study is conducted within the VCU Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Lab at 737 N. Fifth St. Recruitment is ongoing.
