VCU's Muslim Student Association will hold Jummah (Friday) Prayer in the Virginia Rooms on the second floor of the University Student Commons, 907 Floyd Ave. The first session will be held at 1:15 p.m., the second session held at 2:15 p.m. Masks are required.

Weeks of Welcome Design Thinking Workshop

Design thinking is a powerful framework for solving big problems. VCU students who have learned design thinking methods see immediate ways they can use it in their everyday lives, both in and out of the classroom. Center for Pharmacy Practice Innovation Lunch and Learn – COVID-19: Moving Ahead

It can be difficult to know where to look for the most updated and accurate information, so the Center for Pharmacy Practice Innovation will bring back its COVID-19 vaccine panel to discuss booster shots, COVID-19 variants and other FAQs. VCUarts Theatre To Present Filmed Performances of 'I and You'
8 p.m.
VCU's Department of Theatre will present filmed performances of "I and You" by Lauren Gunderson. In-person screenings will be at Grace Street Theatre, 934 W. Grace St., at 8 p.m. on Sept. 17 and Sept. 18. Masks will be required. Admission for VCU students will be $5. A virtual stream will be available Sept. 19. "I and You" is the story of a teen homebound due to chronic illness and the popular, athletic classmate who unexpectedly turns up at her house.

Becoming an Antiracist Educator Series
Tuesday, Sep. 21, 2021 from 4:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m.
VCU's Office of Strategic Engagement will host a series to develop skills to help dismantle systems perpetuating racial inequities. Levels 1 and 2 of the Series are being held for both Higher Ed and PK-12 audiences. The nine-part series will include a personal/professional assessment and a microcredential upon completion. Participate in a Survey Study on Behavior Change Counseling
Are you a health-care clinician or student who practices or trains in Virginia? If so, then you are likely eligible to participate in a survey study conducted by faculty at VCU. We are interested in how health-care professionals have learned behavioral health counseling, specifically motivational interviewing.
