New Travel Accident Insurance for International Travelers

Cultural Insurance Services International (CISI) is the new provider of emergency evacuation and travel assistance services for VCU and the VCU Health System. Employees and other authorized business travelers are automatically covered while on VCU sponsored travel abroad but are encouraged to register their international itinerary on the CISI business traveler website at https://www.culturalinsurance.com/vcu-bt/. These travelers may also consider the optional travel health insurance coverage offered by CISI for an additional cost. For questions regarding the travel insurance and services offered by CISI, email srm@vcu.edu. Students participating in most education abroad programs administered by the VCU Global Education Office will be automatically enrolled by GEO in the CISI plan. All other student travelers will be prompted to self-enroll in the plan upon registration with GEO. Emerging Healthcare Leaders is hosting a mentorship program to connect pre-health students with mentors in their desired career path. VCU Health and Massey Cancer Center are conducting focus groups to understand the experiences of Black men who smoke or used to smoke and their opinions about lung cancer screening, smoking cessation and health care disparities in Virginia. Do You Smoke Tobacco Cigarettes?
