RAMmalogues: Open Dialogue on Social Unrest

Share your lived experiences and bear witness to what others have to share in open dialogue. Engage with students, faculty and staff in a special RAMmalogues session about social unrest. RAMmalogues, led by a trained facilitator, is a space for intercultural, multigenerational and community-wide conversations around who we are and what matters to us. New Pilot Project Funding Mechanism for VCU Health Researchers
VCU's C. Kenneth and Dianne Wright Center for Clinical and Translational Research has announced a new funding program aimed at helping researchers recruit study participants in rural areas. The Rural Pilots Voucher Program offers VCU researchers and investigators at partner institutions the opportunity to apply for a voucher to offset costs related to innovative digital health methods for participant engagement and recruitment in hard-to-reach patient populations. Applications are accepted on a continuous basis.

VCU Libraries Food for Fines Drive To Benefit Ram Pantry
Bring nonperishable food items to the information desk at James Branch Cabell Library or the service desk at the Health Sciences Library. For each food item donated, VCU Libraries will credit individuals $5 in overdue fines up to a $30 maximum each semester.

Free Flu Vaccines Offered By University Student Health Services
University Student Health Services offers free flu vaccines to all students on both campuses. The flu vaccine is safe, effective and does not cause the flu. All students are encouraged to get the flu vaccine, especially those at high risk for flu complications (people with asthma, diabetes or heart disease).
