VCU Police Urges the Use of Headquarters for Online Sales and Exchanges

When selling (or buying) an item online, choose a public meetup spot with safety in mind. VCU Police has a “sell safe” location in its lobby, located at 224 E. Broad St. It can be accessed by taking the Convention Center GRTC Pulse stops and visitor and bike parking is available behind the building. VCUPD headquarters is staffed 24/7 and the public vestibule at the Broad Street entrance is under camera surveillance.

Richmond Marathon To Cause Traffic Disruptions

Facilities Management advises that the Richmond Marathon will cause street closures and detours on Nov. 13 from 4 a.m.-3 p.m. on both the Monroe Park and MCV campuses. Race organizers recommend using the Waze traffic app to help navigate on race day as road closures have been preloaded into the app. Anyone traveling to campus should allow extra time to reach their destination.

Participants Are Invited For Study Examining Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Exercise

This study is seeking individuals between the ages of 18 and 35 years who have PTSD or symptoms of PTSD. The purpose of this research study is to examine the effect of PTSD symptoms on blood vessel function during acute exercise and following exercise training. This study will be conducted at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus. Principal Investigator: Ryan Garten, Ph.D., Department of Kinesiology and Health Sciences.
