World Vegan Day: Everything You Wanted to Know About Veganism

In celebration of Cancer Caregiver Month, VCU Massey Cancer Center Office of Community Outreach and Engagement and the Health Hub @ 25th are hosting free art therapy for cancer caregivers. This three-session program at the Health Hub @ 25th, 1330 N. 25th St., Suite A, will use music and art therapy to help caregivers of those with cancer connect with others. Chili Cook-off To Benefit FRIENDS Association for Children

VCU Police will host its 11th annual chili cook-off in Rodney’s at the Shafer Court Dining Center, 810 Cathedral Place. The event will feature chefs and judges from across VCU. For a $5 entry fee, guests can taste various chili recipes, receive a bowl of their favorite and vote for the one they like best. Guests can also enter a $5 raffle for VCU Men's basketball tickets. Masking and social distancing will be in effect. All proceeds will benefit FRIENDS Association for Children in Richmond.

Climate Justice Day

Physical Therapy Research Study: Split-Belt Treadmill Walking
VCU’s Applied Movement Performance Lab is recruiting participants for a research study involving walking on a split-belt treadmill. You will be asked to walk on this specialized treadmill that temporarily changes your gait and we will analyze how your walking patterns respond to this unique situation. Participants must be 18 years or older and have no health problem that would impact the ability to walk on a treadmill. The testing session will last no more than 90 minutes.
