Shift Holiday Market
Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 from noon to 4 p.m.
VCU's Shift Retail Lab will host a pop-up gift market at 1235 W. Broad St. The market will have a hot chocolate bar, gift-wrapping station, a raffle and live screen printing holiday cards. This is also game day for the VCU men’s basketball team.

SHRM Exam Prep
Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 from 5:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
VCU's Center for Corporate Education at the School of Business will present Society for Human Resource Management Exam Prep. Prepare for the SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-CSP) exam with a practicing human resources leader and SHRM-certified instructor. This online course runs for 14 weeks beginning Jan. 11 and concluding April 19, 2022. The registration fee is $1,600 and includes all materials and online learning software. 51 Scholarships Available: Apply Today
VCU Business Services is accepting applications for 51 academic scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year. Scholarships range from $5,000-$7,500 and are available to both undergraduate and graduate students. Specialty scholarships are also available for international students and single parents. Scholarship applications are submitted at bsv.vcu.edu/scholarships and must be completed by Feb. 18, 2022.

Career Seminar Series to Start in January
VCU Health Pauley Heart Center and the VCU Wright Center will sponsor via Zoom a monthly multidisciplinary translational research seminar starting in January. The seminar will offer an interactive discussion highlighting cardiovascular translational research and career development. A registration link will be available in January.

Come Play in the University Band
University Band (APPM 357) is open to all VCU students. The University Band meets each Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 3-3:50 p.m. Students will perform in a traditional concert band setting and give one concert each semester. No audition is required and all ability levels are welcome.

Do You Smoke Tobacco Cigarettes?
Individuals who smoke tobacco cigarettes daily are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. Compensation may be available.
