CLARION Competition Root Cause Analysis Presentation and Team Formation Meeting

Join the Center for Interprofessional Education and Inter Health Professionals Alliance for a root cause analysis presentation and team formation meeting via Zoom for the National CLARION Competition. This is a student case competition for health professional students, enabling them to achieve a 360-degree perspective on patient safety in today's health care system and how it might be improved. Student teams, consisting of four students, composed of at least two disciplines, are given a case and are charged with creating a root cause analysis. The team presents their analysis to a panel of interprofessional judges that evaluates their analysis in the context of real-world standards of practice. Deep Stretch With Jess

This slower 30-minute practice focuses on active stretching of muscles and opening connective tissue. Release built-up tension, prevent injury, increase blood flow to muscles and increase long-term flexibility. No equipment is required, though a yoga mat is recommended. COVID-19 Pandemic Monitoring and Analytics

University Student Health Services currently offers free COVID-19 vaccines to all students on both campuses. In addition, there will be an upcoming clinic at the Seigel Center lobby, 1200 W. Request for Proposals for Virginia's Alzheimer's and Related Diseases Research Award Fund
VCU’s Virginia Center on Aging is accepting grant applications through March 3 for the Alzheimer's and Related Diseases Research Award Fund. Applicants must be affiliated with colleges or universities, research institutes or other not-for-profit organizations located in Virginia. Awards are limited to $45,000 each. A nonbinding letter of intent is required by Feb. 3. The application form and further information about preparing the letter of intent are available at the following URL.
