Wavelength: Laure Prouvost

Wavelength, an online lecture series presented by the ICA at VCU, VCUarts and VCUarts Qatar, will return with a virtual talk from French multimedia artist Laure Prouvost. Funded Study Abroad Opportunity for First- and Second-Year Students

VCU's National Scholarship Office will hold an informational session about the Fulbright United Kingdom Summer Institutes. The funded three- to four-week programs at UK universities are for U.S. undergraduate students who have a GPA of 3.7 or higher and very little travel experience outside North America. CLARION Competition Root Cause Analysis Presentation and Team Formation Meeting

Join the Center for Interprofessional Education and Inter Health Professionals Alliance for a root cause analysis presentation and team formation meeting via Zoom for the National CLARION Competition. This is a student case competition for health professional students, enabling them to achieve a 360-degree perspective on patient safety in today's health care system and how it might be improved. Student teams, consisting of four students, composed of at least two disciplines, are given a case and are charged with creating a root cause analysis. The team presents their analysis to a panel of interprofessional judges that evaluates their analysis in the context of real-world standards of practice. COVID-19 Pandemic Monitoring and Analytics

Rob Lyden, vice president for business operations at Humetrix and a 1984 graduate of VCU's Department of Health Administration, will discuss pandemic monitoring, analytics, other health IT related issues and lessons learned, especially in the federal sector. COVID-19 Vaccine Clinics for Students
University Student Health Services currently offers free COVID-19 vaccines to all students on both campuses. In addition, there will be an upcoming clinic at the Seigel Center lobby, 1200 W. Broad St., Bowe Street entrance on Feb. 1 by appointment only. To schedule: https://health.students.vcu.edu/web-portal/. The Pfizer vaccine will be offered to students.
