Shift Your Mindset
10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Meditation is a powerful tool to help creatives and entrepreneurs tap into their intuition, gain focus and find quiet amidst the hustle. Guided meditation sessions will be hosted by the da Vinci Center and the School of Business Office of Student Engagement at 10 a.m. on the first Wednesday of every month. Stay afterward for conversation and community. The event is open to all VCU students, faculty and staff. No registration is necessary.

Medical Research and the First Heart Transplant in the South

'My Life, My Scholarship' Symposium

The VCU Institute for Inclusion, Inquiry and Innovation (iCubed) will present "My Life, My Scholarship," a symposium series. The series features scholars from iCubed and the Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program examining how the lived experiences of these faculty members have impacted their research and scholarly interests. Speaker Fara de Avila is a Humphrey Fellow with experience administering drug treatment and working with offenders. The session will be at Barnes and Noble at VCU, 1111 W. Broad St.

Student Input Sought on Design of New Reflection Room at Cabell Library

Leaders at VCU Libraries are beginning an inclusive process to design a new space at James Branch Cabell Library: a Reflection Room for quiet retreat. They invite student input on the design at an open forum.
