Request for Proposals for Virginia's Alzheimer's and Related Diseases Research Award Fund

VCU’s Virginia Center on Aging is accepting grant applications through March 3 for the Alzheimer's and Related Diseases Research Award Fund. Applicants must be affiliated with colleges or universities, research institutes or other not-for-profit organizations located in Virginia. Awards are limited to $45,000 each. Patients With Painful Diabetic Neuropathy Are Invited To Participate in a Study of a Potential New Treatment

We are inviting male and female Type 2 diabetes patients with painful diabetic neuropathy ages 18-75 to participate in a research investigation of a new treatment to alleviate pain and examine its effects on pain perception. In addition to the new treatment, this study involves completing surveys and undergoing tests to evaluate perceptions of pain. Volunteers will be compensated for their time. Participants are only required to come once for the study.
