Teaching With Technology Survival Camp

VCU Online will hold the Winter 2022 edition of the Teaching with Technology Survival Camp for VCU faculty and staff, in partnership with VCU Academic Technologies, from Jan. 11-14. Mailing Address Update for W2 Forms
Employees should check their mailing address on file in myVCU in order to receive a paper W2. To receive it electronically, be sure to give e-consent in myVCU. This method gives employees access to the W2 on the day of release instead of waiting for a mailed copy.

Cultural Competency and Language Classes
VCU Continuing and Professional Education, in partnership with the School of World Studies, will hold live online cultural competency and language classes for VCU and VCU Health employees and community members for 1 academic credit. Recruiting Now for TEENS, a Virtual Weight Management Research Program for 12-16 Year-Olds
Are you concerned about your teen’s weight? We can help. TEENS is a research program that includes a four-month family-based lifestyle intervention – all conducted virtually – for teens ages 12 to 16 who are overweight or obese. The program is offered by Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU. It includes weekly, virtual group classes for teens and parents that cover topics such as healthy eating, physical activity and goal-setting. Teens also participate in live exercise sessions conducted online by personal trainers.

Are You Interested in Learning Strategies To Help Manage Cancer-Related Pain?
The VCU Massey Cancer Center Survivorship Research Program is testing a six-week program for people with cancer-related pain to learn strategies to help reduce their pain. If you are a cancer survivor who is no longer being treated for cancer but still experiencing pain and on medications such as Percocet, OxyContin, Methadone, or Fentanyl to help with pain, contact us for more information. All participants will be given a $10 dollar gift card at the start of the study, at six weeks and at 12 weeks.
