Recreation and Well-Being Children's Swim Lessons Spring Session 1

RecWell Children's Swim Lessons will be held on Saturday mornings at the Cary Street Gym Aquatic Center, 101 S. Linden St. Four levels of swim lessons will be available for ages 6 months-5 years old. Makerspace Training Courses

Registration is open for Makers' Training Workshops and for Makers’ Courses (Modules I, II and III), for VCU students who seek to use the College of Engineering Makerspaces. Students must first complete the orientation and general safety training through the College of Engineering before registering for the more advanced courses. Smoking Reduction Study for African American Menthol Smokers

Adults who smoke menthol cigarettes and identify as Black/African American are invited to participate in a study that involves electronic cigarette use for six weeks to reduce their smoking. Participants must be willing to visit the study site, receive phone calls and respond to texts/ surveys. Compensation is provided. Principal investigators are Andrew Barnes, Ph.D., Health Behavior and Policy Department, and Caroline Cobb, Ph.D., Psychology Department. Do You Dip or Use Smokeless Tobacco?

Individuals who dip/use smokeless tobacco are needed to participate in a research study that requires multiple laboratory visits. Compensation may be available. This study will be conducted at VCU.
