Engineering World Health at VCU presents Zoltan Istvan, a 2016 presidential candidate for the Transhumanist Party, in the School of Engineering West Hall, Room 104. Istvan will be speaking about biomedical enhancement, the philosophy of transhumanism and how transhumanist technology will affect developing countries.

Women's Basketball hosts the University of Maryland Eastern Shore at the Siegel Center. The game will feature a post-game autograph session with the Women's Basketball team. VCU students receive free admission. Faculty and staff will receive a discounted $4 ticket with a valid VCU ID.

Final Grading for Fall 2015

Grading for fall 2015 has begun. Grade sheets are available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon on Wednesday, Dec. 16, at which time grading will be turned off. Faculty may only access grade sheets for courses to which they have been assigned in the Class Schedule. If you do not see one of your grade sheets, contact your department's course scheduling representative.

Commonwealth of Virginia Campaign: Deadline Approaching

Noise Alert: Construction Finale at Cabell Affects Exam Season This Week

Work on new Cabell Library is edging to a close. To meet deadlines, some essential work is being done this week. From Dec. 10-11, workers are installing new shelving in the services area in the new lobby. Expect noise on the first and second floors. RamRide Holiday Service

The Campus Connector operates on its normal schedule through Tuesday, Dec. 15, and will operate from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. from Dec. 16-18. From Saturday, Dec. 19, through Sunday, Jan. 3, the Campus Connector will not be in service. The A Lot, I Lot and M Lot routes will be serviced as normal, with the exception of Friday, Dec. 25, and Friday, Jan. 1. Employees who park in the A, I or M lots will be permitted to park in the N Deck or 8th St. Deck on these two dates. VCU Globe: Accepts Applications for Faculty Fellows

VCU Globe is currently accepting applications for the Faculty Fellows Program. Applications from faculty in a wide variety of academic disciplines are encouraged. Eligibile applicants hold full-time appointments in their disciplines, work as adjunct faculty at VCU or represent a Richmond-area community partner.
