Kappa Epsilon pharmacy fraternity invites all members of the VCU community to participate in the 5KE Color Run at Shelter No. 2, Robious Landing Park, 3800 James River Road, Midlothian. The annual event, which this year will be a color run, honors the memory of faculty members Amy Rudenko, Pharm.D., and Amy Pakyz. Pharm.D., Ph.D. Participation in this event costs $5, and white T-shirts for the color run are available for $10. Proceeds from this event will go toward the Amy Rudenko Memorial Scholarship and Amy Pakyz Scholarship. Participants Are Invited for Study Examining the Impact of Acute and Chronic Stress on Cardiovascular Health

Individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who identify as Black or African American are invited to participate in a research study examining the effect of acute and chronic stress on cardiovascular and inflammation responses to an acute mental challenge. Raffle drawings for financial compensation will be conducted. This study will take place at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus.
