Faculty and Staff Open Enrollment for Health Coverage and Flexible Spending Through May 15
Open enrollment for the Commonwealth of Virginia’s health coverage and flexible spending plans takes place through Wednesday, May 15. Eligible university faculty and staff may enroll in flexible spending accounts and/or make changes to health coverage elections for the plan year that begins Monday, July 1, 2024. No action is required to maintain current health coverage elections for the upcoming plan year, but enrollment is required to begin or continue participation in flexible spending. COVA Care and COVA HealthAware participants can qualify for premium rewards for the upcoming plan year by completing a new or updated health assessment. LGBTQIA+/First-Generation Student Research Study - Paid Opportunity
Participants are sought who can attend three 90-minute sessions, are open to sharing their experience and willing to photograph their "voice." Participants will be paid $25 for each session. Participants must be a first-generation student and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Call for Participants for the Racial Socialization and African American Immigrants Study
Are you above 18 years of age and have at least one caregiver who identifies as first- (immigrant) or second-generation (born of immigrant parents) originally from a country in Africa or the Caribbean? Consider the Racial Socialization and African American Immigrants Study. SONA Research credit is available for participants in this study. (SONA is an online platform that manages research opportunities for VCU's psychology department.)
