This virtual interactive program typically takes around two-and-a-half hours. A second session will be offered from 9:30-noon on Tuesday, May 14. Saltanat Liebert, Ph.D., will discuss immigration in Virginia and the barriers immigrants face in their integration journey to life in the Commonwealth. The discussion is based on the findings of the needs assessment conducted in 2021-22, commissioned by the Office of New Americans at Virginia Department of Social Services. The needs assessment was conducted by Liebert and Grant Rissler, Ph.D., (an alum of the Wilder School and soon-to-be Assistant Professor at the University of Richmond). Spring 2024 Final Grades Due May 14 at Noon

Grade sheets are now available on faculty eServices. Grades are due by noon on Tuesday, May 14, at which time grade entry will no longer be available. It is imperative to meet this deadline to complete all end-of-the-semester processes. Faculty may choose to use the feature to upload grades from an Excel file into eServices. Faculty and Staff Open Enrollment for Health Coverage and Flexible Spending Through May 15

Open enrollment for the Commonwealth of Virginia’s health coverage and flexible spending plans takes place through Wednesday, May 15. Eligible university faculty and staff may enroll in flexible spending accounts and/or make changes to health coverage elections for the plan year that begins Monday, July 1, 2024. No action is required to maintain current health coverage elections for the upcoming plan year, but enrollment is required to begin or continue participation in flexible spending. COVA Care and COVA HealthAware participants can qualify for premium rewards for the upcoming plan year by completing a new or updated health assessment.
