Shijun Zhang, Ph.D., professor, Department of Medicinal Chemistry, will give a talk, "Small Molecule Discovery by Targeting the Inflammasome Pathways" at a Research Show and Share seminar series hosted by the School of Pharmacy. RecWell’s Unlock Your Fitness: A Journey Through Equipment Orientation

Embarking on a fitness journey can feel a bit overwhelming, but RecWell’s nationally accredited personal trainers are ready to make that first step exciting and achievable. 2024 Annual Staff Survey Results

VCU Human Resources has published the results of the 2024 Annual Staff Survey. The surveys help HR understand how staff members are feeling about their work experience at VCU. In this way programs and services can be shaped in alignment with staff needs. Major Budgeting Unit (MBU) leaders and Human Resources Professionals (HRPs) received their MBU-level results via email and have been encouraged to discuss them with their managers and teams. Participants Are Invited for Study Examining the Impact of Acute and Chronic Stress on Cardiovascular Health

Individuals between the ages of 18 and 30 who identify as Black or African American are invited to participate in a research study examining the effect of acute and chronic stress on cardiovascular and inflammation responses to an acute mental challenge. Raffle drawings for financial compensation will be conducted. This study will take place at 500 Academic Centre on VCU’s Monroe Park Campus.
